Oh, so true

Something I just read on myspace and thought "oh, so true", so decided that it was worth putting it somewhere where I don't actually write anything any more...

1.

High school started before 8am, but now anything before noon is considered
'early'.

2. Weekends start on Thursday.

3. 6am is when you go to sleep, not when you wake up.

4. Instead of falling asleep in class, you stay in bed.

5. You think it's the weekend on a Wednesday and you don't know what month it is.

6. You check Facebook/Myspace more than once a day.

7. Quarters are like gold.

8.

You try to study but seem to procrastinate by eating, going to study breaks,
talking to people, etc...

9. Certain things are now deemed 'facebook worthy.' When friends take pictures of you, you wonder how long it will take them to post them.

10.

You sleep more in class than in your room

11.

You pay $100 for a book you don't read once, return it four months later,
and get $7.

12.

You use words like 'thus'

13. Going to the library is a social event.

14. You skip one class to write a paper for another.

15.

You stay up late to finish homework then sleep through the class in which
it was due.

16.

Your backpack is giving you scoliosis

17. You never realised so many people are smarter than you.

18. You never realized so many people are more dumb (aka 'dumber') than you.

19. You meet the type of people you thought only existed in movies.

20. Printers break down only when you desperately need them.

21.

Hoodies and sweatpants become the norm - jeans are considered 'dressy' at
certain occasions... like school.

22. A canceled class is almost as exciting as Christmas.

23. Taking a nap in the library is perfectly acceptable.

24. Your professors speak English... as a second language.

25. Your teachers swear in class and no one cares.

26.

People have to help you kick the vending machine just so you can get your
50 cent bag of chips.

27.

There's always a 'question kid' in at least one of your classes, and you
really wish someone would just tell him/her to shut the hell up.

28. You no longer find it uncool to take naps. In fact, you quite enjoy them.

29.

You only find out a class is canceled after you get there and sit for about
ten minutes.

30. Energy drinks become your new best friends.

31. It is completely acceptable... and encouraged... to party on weeknights.

32.

Most of your textbooks remain unopened (possibly still shrink-wrapped) the
entire semester.

33. You finish reading this and wonder how you can procrastinate next.

So, if anyone actually reads what I write on this silly old thing, I am now a uni student, have been for the last 5 months or so. Its been ok, slightly hell at times, mostly fun. Lots of glue used. Incredible.
The real fun starts next semester though, so we'll see how I go!

The day she suddenly realised

She would always be alone, only a dog as a companion, the only one to show her love.

lets make it number 8

I dropped my icecream
and like a good 19 year old girl should do
i sat on the step which i tripped up
and cried my heart out
my poor icecream
shattered and splattered down the stairs.

i laughed afterwards coz it was so pathetic.
I must be tired and worried.

Photographing a wedding tomorrow
bit nervous, just need to be organised and pray the rain goes away!

A helicopter just flew over. It reminded me how much I hate helicopters.

I had a dream last night that I was taking photos for the wedding on sunday, and the cameras went flat.
man it was scary.
ugh. must charge cameras!

Long lost memories

I find it funny that everyone (well.. the very few people) i have hurt, have gone on and found someone. Those who once though I was the one for them, only to have me turn on them and reject it, after, i suppose, me leading them on for a while.
I guess thats karma.

Only problem is that Im the one still thinking about them. Not in a way that I want to be with them, more the way that I feel as if I have hurt them.
Im also just jelous because they werent good enough for me (wow that sounds bad.. rephrase)... they werent the right ones for me... (much better), and I let them find someone else, so Im still alone. I suppose I enjoy being single, but sometimes you just want someone, some affection.
I cant seem to get that from anyone who actually cares for me, so I seem to be going to the wrong people, then IM the one who gets hurt. Stupid world.
So, I hate hunting for boys, but sometimes it seems thats all I do. Look around the streets, sing chelsea dagger, huuh, and uuh at boys. But never anything is really gunna happen. I should have made out with wheres wally.

So, I just wonder if all the mistakes I have made in the past are just going to haunt me forever. I know ive tried to forget about these people, but theyre always in the back of my mind. I suppose its guilt. But I dont know what I can do about it! I cant just msg them out of the blue saying "sorry for being a bitch and not talking to you, but hey, you creeped me out and were a bit too full on, you should have known im a commitmentphobe!".... theres a couple of reasons for that not gunna happen... a) thats not right for me to go and intrude on what seem to be like perfectly happy (bah what is that) relationships
and b) i deleted their numbers.

So... Im the bitch. I know that, I did bitchy things on the weekend, another lot of things I should probably take back but my pride (and carly) wont let me... I just have to deal with the consequences I suppose. Ill just be lonely till someone totally awesome and worthy of what is known as ... awesomenss... come and take me away... maybe somewhere awesome. Ok, drifting.
But the moral to this story is.... Never be horrible to people who dont deserve it, its you who will feel the pain later down the track.
Learn from my mistakes.
